Kidnapped by Van Der Waal's

Is it too forward to ask it, will it surely seal my casket?

For an opportunity to know you before life pulls me past it?

I can't help noticing that when you grin

Everything within me melts away.

It's just like me; most pitiable fool.

These feelings so predictable.

My champagne taste, beer budget all.

Drawn by your warmth, your gentle call;

A friendliness displayed to all.

As sure as gravity I fall - for you.

Could our friendship truly dwell

Without bound within love's well,

Or only in my bated breath

Fogging up the window still,

Gazing at the memory of your face

Which no length of time can erase?

It's just like me; most pitiable fool.

These feelings so predictable.

My champagne taste, beer budget all.

Drawn by your warmth, your gentle call;

A friendliness displayed to all.

As sure as gravity I fall - for you.

I liked your berry compot, and sure, I like you a lot.

But feather dreams always float down

Eventually embrace the ground.

Half wish you weren't half the woman you are.

Maybe then I'd have half a chance

To lead you in life's fickle dance.

I know this makes no sense, It's a pointless hypothetical.

Highly pathetic, all An empty jest

Conjured up just like the rest.

It's just like me; most pitiable fool.

These feelings so predictable.

My champagne taste, beer budget all.

Drawn by your warmth, your gentle call;

A friendliness displayed to all.

As sure as gravity I fall - for you
